Turn on the television, and you can watch advertisements of different kinds, aiming to promote the products to be sold. A number of them exaggerate the effectiveness and quality of the targeted products and some of them are nothing but totally lies. They bring huge ill effects and harms to customers.

In the first place, customers waste money on such inferior products. Customers could have gained more if the products were really as good as they were advertised. Unluckily, many items fail to meet customers’ need in terms of price-quality ratio. In addition, especially for health-care products, because of over-promotion, customers give up the medicine and treatments they should take. This results in their worsened conditions, sometimes fatal. Last but not least, some advertisements are full of pornographic pictures such as sexy women, which is harmful to young people.

Since I am fully aware of such negative advertisements, I avoid buying them in most cases. I hope that the authorities take actions in combat these advertisements so that our consuming conditions could be better.
